Potential Power was established in 2019 with the intent of providing clients the ultimate experience in electrical engineering, by eliminating the headache and hassle clients experience throughout a project. By working with us, you as the client will eliminate the difficulties of “missed items” in a project, due to our diligent work ethic and attention to detail on every project. We pride ourselves on our clear line of communication in order to eliminate any “coordination issues” between various engineering disciplines and the project team.

At Potential, you’ll be working with a new age staff who is raised in the era of technology and can articulate today’s fast technological upgrades of industry equipment and apply that knowledge to the codes and standards of today.

About The Founder

andrew mirzakhanian, p.e.

Graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2014. He has previous work experience as a SCADA engineer where he was tasked with integrating distributed energy resources (DER’s) to the local utility grid with compliance to the California Independent System Operator (CAISO).

During his time as a SCADA engineer, he was responsible for designing and programming the controls and data aggregation system, conducting factory acceptance tests, field installations, testing and start up, as well as commissioning the SCADA system with CAISO.

Andrew has spent the past four years working as a consultant specializing in design and aiding in power system studies. As a consultant Andrew supported his clients to achieve their goals of system safety, reliability, and functionality all within the client’s budget.

In his four years as a consultant, Andrew has had multiple roles as a lead electrical engineer and project manager. He has specialized in critical facilities and medium voltage design. You can see his notable projects listed here.
